Description
Rope lashings bind each rung to the rails of these siege ladders, and every carrier wears mail, with a sword at his hip and a kite or round shield slung on his arm or back. One pair holds a ladder flat above their heads while others shoulder a longer run at an angle, and the two climbers are posed for going up the rungs.
Run the carriers across the open ground during the assault, then swap in the climbers once a ladder is against the wall.
The four ladder sections connect end to end, so they can be built into longer ladders.
