Description
Heavy horns that curl forward and down past the jaw are the first thing to spot on the ancient black dragon, which climbs head first down a pile of boulders with its mouth open. Frills of spines run along the neck, back and tail, its wings spread out overhead, and a short flight of worn stone steps is built into the rocks beneath it.
The steps suggest a ruin or a hidden entrance, so it works as a lair centrepiece as well as a monster.
