Description

Cauldrons are the device on Álvaro Nuñez de Lara’s shield, two of them stacked on the long kite. Above him the great banner is carved with a castle and breaks into tails at the fly, lashed to the spear at several points; he wears a conical helm with a nose guard, and his horse’s mail trapper falls almost to the ground. Rider, horse, shield and banner-spear are separate parts.

Pair him with King Alfonso VIII for a Castilian command group, or use him as the army’s battle standard on his own.

Printed to order in grey resin by IGSMinis, under licence from Reconquer Designs. Supplied unpainted; some assembly may be needed. Prints can carry small support marks that want a light clean-up before painting.
