Description
King Sancho II of Kingdom of Castile in 11th century Spain. One of three king brothers, after their father, King Fernando of Castile and Leon died and the kingdom split into three. Sancho was the oldest, and most aggressive, warlike, and militarily talented. Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, also known as El Cid Campeador, was fiercely loyal to him up until his assassination.
